Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Blush Palette Review & Swatches

Purchased

When UD | Gwen Stefani Blush Palette showed up as “in stock” a few days before the release date, the beauty blogger in me had clicked on CHECKOUT faster than I could have spelled, B-A-N-A-N-A-S!

The white and gold packaging looks simply beautiful and very elegant.

Cherry is a pretty cotton candy pink with a soft satin sheen.
Easy is a lovely neutral rose-berry with golden shimmer.
Angel is a beautiful warm champagne-gold highlighter.

From L to R:  Lo-Fi, Hush, and OC

Lo-Fi is a nice soft brown tan with a matte finish.
Hush
is a gorgeous peachy-pink with golden shimmer.
OC is a unique peach to pink duochrome.

I bought this palette sight unseen, fingers crossed that the shades are truly “versatile enough for any skin tone” just as UD described them.  They do show up quite well on me (MAC NC30-35), but I don’t think they’re “versatile enough” for darker skin tones. The palette would work perfectly fine for those with fair to medium skin tones though.

The shades are so much prettier in person, and the formula (which I’ve never tried before) is really nice, very smooth and blends out nicely on the skin.  All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase, so two thumbs up for UD and Gwen because this sh– is bananas! B-A-N-A-N-A-S!
