Silk Naturals Colors for a Cure 2010 Review & Swatches

Silk Naturals released “Colors for a Cure” a couple of weeks ago. They will be donating a portion of the sales to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research until November 7th.

Unforgettable is a dupe of Carpe Diem (CFC 2008). Aware was the GWP that week. Homecoming Queen, Mojave, and Prowl were reissued GWP’s.

Unforgettable is a special limited edition Black Label lip color. It’s only available until November 7th.

This is a beautiful semi-opaque rosy pink color with a touch of real 24k gold.

Aware is a lovely dusty pink with some golden shimmer.

Mojave is a shimmery medium-light golden tan.

Homecoming Queen is a semi-sheer pearly pale gold.

Prowl is a dark rich chocolate brown with red and purple highlights.

Unforgettable costs $9.95, but $5 of each purchase will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The eye shadows are $4.00 each, and $1 of each sale will be donated as well.

Are you getting any of these colors? What’s your favorite product, company, or event that makes a contribution to breast cancer research?

  1. Love your swatches. What photo editing software do u use to put the pictures into collages? I use picnik but I hate how they enlarge and cut off my pics when I put them in a collage.

The e/s look great! You are one good enabler! I keep telling myself 'enough e/s!' and the moment i open up your blog it turns to 'ok, maybe 1 or 2'.Bah!

ps: my work verification was 'Fock Lewa' lol

  2. @birminghamlady: I love MU companies that donate to charity. I feel less guilty about ordering more MU knowing that it's for a good cause. 😉

@4wheel: Thanks! Prowl is really nice. I'm so glad Karen reissued the color.

@SilhouetteScreams: The lipstick definitely is one of my top favorites. I love that it has edible real 24k gold in it. ^^

@justltee: Thank you! I use Paint Shop Pro with all my pics… just for resize, crop, collage, watermark, and labels. I keep telling myself "enough e/s" or "enough lippies", but… resistance is futile. LOL!

@Renay Shanel: Thank you, and you're welcome! ^^
