MAC Glitter & Ice Paint Pots Review & Swatches

I love MAC Paint Pots, so when MAC released 3 new colors for Glitter & Ice, I had to get all 3 of them… For Effect, Let’s Skate, and Morning Frost.

MAC For Effect Paint Pot:

MAC Let’s Skate Paint Pot:

MAC Morning Frost Paint Pot:

From L to R: For Effect, Let’s Skate, and Morning Frost…

For Effect is a dark charcoal black with light silver sparkles. It’s similar to MUFE Aqua Cream #1 Anthracite, but MUFE #1 is more opaque with finer silver shimmer. MAC Blackground is a lot darker, more opaque, and has a more subtle shimmer.

Let’s Skate is a light pink with gold shimmer. This is so pretty! I can’t think of any dupes.

Morning Frost is a medium taupe brown with a frosted finish. This looks very similar to MUFE Aqua Cream #13 Warm Beige, and I’m sure there are other possible dupes, but I don’t regret getting this one because I know I would get a lot of use out of it.

I love cream eyeshadows, and I’m a huge fan of MAC Paint Pots. They are creamy, and they blend easily. They can be used as an eyeshadow base or worn alone as a quick wash of color. They can be sheered out, applied heavily, or layered to a desired intensity. Plus, they last for hours on end without smudging, creasing, or fading. Love!

Did you pick up anything from this collection? Have you tried MAC Paint Pots yet? How did you like it? Do you have a favorite color?
