Here’s the rest of the Extra Dimension Eyeshadows. Part 1 with Young Venus, Sweet Heat, Havana, Warm Thunder, and Dark Dare can be viewed here. This review will feature Modern Pewter, Blue Orbit, Grand Galaxy, Lunar, and Rich Core.
MAC Modern Pewter Extra Dimension Eyeshadow:
Modern Pewter is a light dirty golden olive green with a little silver and gray mixed in. I love it! It’s my favorite out of the entire collection.
MAC Blue Orbit Extra Dimension Eyeshadow:
Blue Orbit is a light blue violet with a light purple sheen. This one looks much more unique and interesting in person. It is a little on the sheerer side though.
MAC Grand Galaxy Extra Dimension Eyeshadow:
Grand Galaxy is dark purple with a metallic silver sheen.
MAC Lunar Extra Dimension Eyeshadow:
Lunar is a navy blue with a lighter blue metallic sheen.
MAC Rich Core Extra Dimension Eyeshadow:
Rich Core is a dark burgundy with a fairly metallic finish.
As I’ve said in my previous review, I love these eyeshadows because the texture is nice, soft, smooth, and creamy. They are well pigmented, easily blendable and buildable. They can be used wet or dry. (These were all swatched dry over bare skin.) With a primer, they look more vibrant, and they last at least eight hours without any fading or creasing. My personal favorites here are Modern Pewter and Grand Galaxy.
What do you think of these eyeshadows? Have you tried this formula yet? Do you like the design and/or formula? What did you haul from this collection?
